The Town of Winthrop has partnered with a new emergency notification vendor, Everbridge, to communicate important announcements and alerts to Winthrop residents.
All residents and business owners are encouraged to sign up and register online to receive emergency alerts and notifications from the Town of Winthrop. The Town of Winthrop and Everbridge are committed to maintaining the highest levels of security with your personal data. Residents are required to register using their address and contact information on the new platform any personal information captured by the previous notification system (CODE Red) was not transferred due to privacy and personal information sharing concerns.
Residents that are subscribed will receive notifications related to Town of Winthrop alerts such as a weather emergency or a public safety alert.
Residents can receive notifications by phone call, text to a mobile device or email.

The Town of Winthrop will only utilize this system to communicate urgent information. Residents are able to opt out of the program through their online Everbridge profile.
